Open Position

Alpine Autism Center hires full and part time openings for bright, energetic, caring, motivated, and responsible individuals who enjoy working with children with special needs and their families.

We are a non-profit organization operating a day treatment facility using the CARD (Center for Autism Related Disorders) curriculum. We offer center based programming utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB) for children with autism. Furthermore, we utilize ABA principles to decrease/eliminate inappropriate behaviors such as, but not limited to aggression and self-injurious behaviors and replace them with appropriate behaviors with the use of functional communication training and individualized behavior support plans. Extensive paid training is provided and supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and/or Assistants (BCaBA).

Qualifications

Candidates must meet at least one of the following qualifications in order to apply:

• B.A/B.S. in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or related field
• A.A. in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or a related field and currently working towards B.A. /B.S.
• Experience in working with children (special needs or typical)
• Must be willing to transport clients during community outings.
